Your Frame TV Questions, Answered

Straightforward answers about mounting, recessed boxes, power, decorative frames, Art Store subscriptions, and installation planning — in plain language.

No. A recessed media enclosure is useful when compatible electronics live behind the display — it gives room for connections, ventilation, and service access. Other installations may use a suitable cabinet instead. We plan for what your setup actually needs rather than assuming one box fits every Frame.

It depends on your model. Many earlier standard 4K Frames and the 2025 LS03FA use a wired One Connect box that can sit in a cabinet or recessed enclosure nearby. The 2025 LS03FW and 2026 LS03HW Frame Pro use a wireless One Connect hub that can tuck away up to 10 meters from the screen. The 2026 standard LS03HE has built-in connections at the TV and no separate box at all. Your model number tells us which layout applies.

On two-plate Frame models, the left and right mounts need the correct relationship to each other, the wall support, and the finished TV position. If the alignment is off, the TV won't sit flush or level. We plan the mounting template, studs or backing, equipment enclosure, and decorative frame together — universal bracket measurements don't account for that. Always confirm the exact model's supplied mount rather than assuming all models use the same hardware.

Sometimes. It depends on site-specific heat clearances, wall construction, the model's guidance, and a comfortable viewing height. We don't assume every fireplace is suitable — we look at your actual wall and the heat it produces before recommending it. A TV mounted too high above a mantel can also strain the neck for everyday watching.

Not necessarily. There are three paths: Samsung's paid Art Store subscription for the full catalog, limited free Art Store Streams on eligible models, and your own personal photos or compatible artwork files. You can enjoy art without a subscription. Subscription prices and features can change, so check the current membership options on Samsung's site.

Yes. You can display personal photos or compatible artwork files you already own, loaded through the SmartThings app or a USB drive. Artwork brightness, crop, and mat treatment should suit your room, and the available controls depend on your model.

No — compatibility depends on size, year, and series. We verify it for your exact model before you choose. Materials vary too: Samsung standard bezels are generally slim plastic; Deco Slim and Deco Premiere use decorative mouldings (current sustainable versions use recycled post-consumer materials); Deco Alloy uses aluminum alloy. A finish name isn't the same as the actual material, so a wood-look finish isn't solid wood.

Installation scope and pricing depend on the TV model, size, wall construction, mounting location, cable route, power arrangements, and selected accessories. Factors like stone or brick walls, a recessed media enclosure, relocated electrical work, and a decorative frame all affect the project. We don't quote a flat rate — we assess your specific project and give you a clear plan. Request a project-specific assessment.

Absolutely. Whether you already have the Frame or you're still choosing, send us a wall photo and the model number if you have it. We'll confirm the connection plan, mounting approach, and frame compatibility for your exact TV. You don't need to know your model number to inquire.
