Picture Quality

Is The Frame the Right TV for How You Watch?

The Frame is built to look beautiful on the wall — but it's still a TV you'll watch every day. Here's how to think about picture quality without the marketing language.

Room lighting & reflections

See the art, not the reflection.

Matte or Glare Free screens reduce reflections, but they don't make placement irrelevant. Where the TV sits relative to windows, lamps, and skylights still changes what you see. We help you pick a wall and a viewing height that work with your room's light — not against it.

Natural light

Bright rooms benefit from the matte finish, but direct sun on any screen is still a factor. We look at window exposure throughout the day.

Viewing height

A TV mounted too high strains the neck for everyday watching. We balance the gallery-look height with a comfortable seated viewing angle.

Reflections

Glare Free reduces reflections — verified by UL — but it doesn't eliminate them. Placement and room finishes still matter.

Art & picture quality

Enjoy what you watch. Love what you display.

Your artwork choices

  • Samsung Art Store — a paid subscription catalog of curated artwork.
  • Art Store Streams — limited free streams on eligible models.
  • Personal photos or compatible artwork files you already own.

Samsung's subscription and a separate Deco artwork purchase are different products. Artwork brightness, crop, and mat treatment should suit the room. Art Mode uses power, and subscription prices and features can change — we point you to the current membership options rather than quoting a fixed price.

Everyday picture quality

Picture quality depends on room lighting, reflections, viewing height, and what you watch most — everyday TV, movies, or gaming. Matte or Glare Free screens reduce reflections but don't make placement irrelevant. Standard Frame QLED and Frame Pro Neo QLED are different display systems, so we won't claim identical performance across models.

We help you weigh the real trade-offs for your room rather than repeat marketing language about perfect blacks or zero glare.

Connection plan

Wired One Connect box

Many earlier standard 4K Frames and the 2025 LS03FA route all signals through a physical One Connect box hidden nearby.

Connection plan

Wireless One Connect

The 2025 LS03FW and 2026 LS03HW Frame Pro use a wireless hub — but the TV still needs its own power at the screen.

Connection plan

Built-in connections

The 2026 standard LS03HE connects directly at the TV, with no separate One Connect box at all.

How you watch

Everyday TV, movies, or gaming?

Standard Frame QLED and Frame Pro Neo QLED are different display systems. We won't claim identical performance across models, perfect blacks, or zero glare. Instead, we help you match the display to what you actually watch — and attribute any spec to the exact model you're considering.

Everyday TV

News, sports, and casual viewing. Bright, vivid, and easy to watch in a lit room.

Movies

Cinematic HDR and contrast. Frame Pro's Neo QLED offers a different experience than the standard QLED panel.

Gaming

Low latency and motion clarity matter here. We confirm the model's gaming features rather than assuming parity.
